A little while ago I had the pleasure of working with Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Friends of Hammonds Pond and Cumberland Council to produce some new information boards for one of their green spaces in Carlisle. It was a wonderful collaboration with local school children who studied the wildlife at the Hammonds Pond site and my job was to interpret their brilliant drawings and ideas into some new illustrated information boards. They are now installed at Hammonds Pond, which is a wonderful site to visit, fantastic for children to explore and a great place to learn about and encourage wildlife to flourish on the outskirts of a city.
